Celebrating the arrival of Spring, DJ Marc Fournier presents FIESTA AFRICANA at The Backstage Lounge! The whole African diaspora will be represented in music (as much as 4 hours allows….) including Soukous, Salsa, Champeta, Cumbia, Coupé Décalé, Kizomba, Azonto, etc.

Back by popular demand and celebrating Black History Month; DJ Marc Fournier presents FIESTA AFRICANA at The Backstage Lounge !

The whole African diaspora will be represented in music (as much as 4 hours allows….) including Soukous, Champeta, Cumbia, Coupé Décalé, Kizomba, Azonto, Axé, Salsa, Timba etc.

DJ Marc Fournier will be sharing the stage with two of the best percussionists in the city, bringing the beat to a new heat: from Benin, West Africa, local legend Yoro Noukoussi and from Cuba, master drummer Israel Toto Berriel.

2016 is coming to an end and DJ Marc Fournier would like to invite you to celebrate in a tropical stylee on his island with a seasonal blend of dance music from the tropics. 

Come dance to Latin, African & Caribbean beats like Soukous, Cumbia, Forró, Kizomba, Azonto, Salsa, Reggae/ton, Kompa, etc.

If you can, bring a non-perishable item for donation to the Food Bank and enjoy the island vibes!

Just announced!

Third generation in a family of professional musicians and dancers, Raphael Geronimo committed himself at age seventeen to serious musical studies under the direction of his father Boying Geronimo, and made his professional debut one year later.
Continuing his training he studied in Cuba at the Laboratorio Internacional de Folklore en la Habana and in New York City at the Harbour Center of Performing Arts. Raphael continues to lead and direct the band, Rumba Calzada.
