Agent Mulda will be our guest DJ at Electropical this Saturday, September 21.
You’ve probably seen Agent Mulda (a.k.a. Tyler Mulder) on the decks at one of the many reggae, soca, and other Afro/Caribbean music events he’s produced in the Lower Mainland over the years. It’s his first appearance at Electropical, and we’re excited about it.
He recently returned from the Grenada Carnival, as well as stops in Trinidad & Tobago, so we’re looking forward to hearing some of the new sounds he picked up along the way.
Join us as we celebrate Vancouver’s epic summer and welcome autumn this Saturday at the Backstage Lounge.
New tracks this month from Cairo, Paris, and Buenos Aires.
And we’ll dig deep into our ever-expanding collections of African rhythms, Arabian waves, Brazilian beats, Caribbean sounds, and Balkan bangers to keep you moving.
Looking ahead, check out DJ Marc’s new Coconut Thursdays gig at the Calabash Bistro, starting Sept. 26, from 5pm to 9pm weekly. Marc bills the event as “a sun-infused soundtrack to wind down and drink up with friends and colleagues.”
Please do spread the word, and see you Saturday!
